Hey Nicola - as others have already pointed out - our shop is not black owned. I am a 2nd generation Cuban immigrant (while I have some indigenous roots, most of my ancestry is from Spain and Western Europe, if that’s important). However I am a strong advocate for Black lives, and am continually seeking ways to challenge oppressive systems and work to dismantle them as much as I can both personally and as a business. I’m also a queer human, so LGBTQ+ rights are super important to me as well. This business was founded on the principle of making healing accessible to everyone and empowering individuals to learn and explore various modes of healing in a safe, welcoming place, regardless of their race, sexual, gender, religious, or ethnic identities. (Our shop protection spell even includes that anyone who operates in antithesis of this value shall not cross our threshold - which, as far as we know, seems to be working.) Hello LunaMae, at this time we do not sell sage at this time due to sustainability issues in most harvesting. We do have a selection of locally wildcrafted and bundled options for sale that serve a similar function!
