Freestone Legacy Walking Park

I usually go walking or hiking in the warmer months but when I don't want to deal with the heat and rattlesnakes or if I want to walk a little closer to town, I come to the walking park. This place is very pretty. I love the trees and the water. I like that there are signs up so you know how far you have gone so you can keep track. No matter what time of day, it's a good place to go. It's also a popular place for people to place painted rocks. They always make me smile.

Nice walking park, close to larger play park. Walking park has paved paths, a few bridges, and slight inclines, as well as a water feature for a easy, fun, and interesting walk. Dogs allowed if on a leash. Please clean up after your own dog.

I love going here. It's a good place to relax, walk your dog, go for a run or just to enjoy the scenery.
