GREAT place to get wood pieces. The store items didn't have everything I was looking for, but the staff were super helpful in trying to accomodate/find what I needed. They have a lot of reptiles and arachnids, also some birds, scorpions and amphibians. Can't forget their sloth of course! Great place to go, even if you just want to see some cool animals.

Occasionally out of rats for my snake, but super sweet about it, they helped me find a tarantula as well, and I didn't have any issues, they told me how to take care of it and what I should do and what not to do, and he has been really great since.
I know they might buy it based on the condition. But they do trade in tanks, so is you're looking for a new tank bring your old one and they'll take the value off the new one.
Can I bring in feeder mice to sell yall if my colony has gotten too big?

It would probably be best to call and ask the store themselves

How available are tiny monkeys, right now?
cole haynie | Oct 18, 2021
Steve Jeffers | Oct 18, 2021
Well they don't have them at zookeeper. And I think they would object to that anyway. I think it's against the law now to buy, transport, import, primates. But you might want to check. Monkeys are not easy to raise. They're dangerous or can be and they're not a pet for somebody that doesn't have any knowledge about wild animals. And it's not something you can just keep in a cage. I would suggest you look somewhere else for something else monkeys are not ideal pets and they're too close to being human for us to have the satisfaction of saying that they should be a caged animal.. Just sayin !
Staff wear masks, distance between customers, sign posted on door asking customers to wear masks as well.
Do yall still have ball pythons?

Aaron Bryant | Oct 18, 2021
Yes they have axolotl. Honestly, you need to go check it out. They're currently expanding, but the staff are super knowledgeable and friendly and will help you out with any specific questions. They also have a pretty impressive variety of different animals on hand.
do you have any ball pythons? If so, how much do they cost?
Angel Smith | Oct 18, 2020
Toyya Cisneros | Oct 18, 2020
They do carry ball pythons. I would suggest calling because they get new animals all the time. The price will vary depending on rarity and age.
We do re-home animals in need of a new home, and NO they are not fed to snakes. If they need medical care, we try and find someone willing to help with that too.
Their stock varies wildly from week to week. Your best bet for finding out if they have a particular animal in stock is to call them up. David is pretty knowledgeable and super helpful.
You can call to verify if they have most any species. Service is wonderful. Not only do they have them, they often have several and know the difference.
Do y'all have any Male white/albino axolotls? If so, how much are they?

Do they have land snails?
Hershey Maggie & Louie | Oct 19, 2019
Arthur | Oct 19, 2019
They don't have them commonly. You can call to see if they have them in stock and if not you can just ask to be put on a waiting list to be called and get first pick when they get some in.
From an article about Zookeeper in the Statesman: Owner Daniel Keeper said he gets at least one customer asking to buy the sloth every day. But Sophia isn't for sale. "We try to dissuade people from wanting to keep them," Keeper said. "This one just happened to be here, so we made the best of the situation, but we tell people that they don't make good pets. Because they really don't.''
Does anybody know if thethey carry baby skunks? Or know of anybody that does?
livvy quibodeaux | Oct 19, 2019
Loki Laney | Oct 19, 2019
They don't. You might be able to check online but I believe skunks are illegal in Texas without several permits and talking with your local fish and wildlife
I have a 2yr female ferret but i want to rehome it could i get ppl who wants a ferret
Alfredo Esparza | Oct 19, 2019
Thomas Hill | Oct 19, 2019
Take it to the shop. They are typically good about taking animals off your hands.
If you like ferrets, they have little frogs...they are like ferrets, without the pungent smell of 3 day old pee on the floor, and ,and ,and frogs come in variety of colors and sizes ,and they don't bite your toes ,or act kookoo around guest🤔
We have a royal python, and she's just awesome. I've played with red tailed boa's before and pythons are just more active, and not nearly as vicious as a corn shake
I believe they have several types of snakes at any one time but their available inventory changes all the time. There are some constants, like tarantulas or bearded dragons, but I'm not sure if that would hold true for kingsnakes.
If you're thinking of a rabbit go to House Rabbit in Pflugerville where they have rabbits for adoption. Lots of people get rabbits then drop them off there when the novelty wears off.
I would recommend going by or calling the shop. You'll most likely just get comments from people who shop here regularly instead of the actual shop owners.
Stock changes regularly, but if you stop in they may be willing to look into a verified source to get you your tortoises. That's only if they don't have some in the first place.
You need to think more on the expensive side if you are just starting out. They need a lot, and setting up a good habitat for any animal is going to get pricey.
They sell a few different varieties of turtles and tortoises. Not sure on the specifics though. I'm sure a phone call would be able to inform you of the specific species
They almost always have chameleons. The price will vary. Call them up and they can tell you prices. They also have a Facebook page and are pretty good about responding.
they carry a variety of turtles and tortoises. even the smallest species for a long and fruitful is probably going to require a 30-40 gallon tank with regular water changes too. best to make sure the whole family is game. aquatics is a lot of work.
They have a rotating selection... kingsnakes, pyhtons, corn snakes, milk snakes, etc. I recommend calling first if you're looking for something specific.
