Ok campground. Older bathrooms. Very low water pressure. Flush toilets do not have enough wayer to flush. Sink worked. Miserably hot in July.

We stayed for one night and thankfully the temperatures were not as hot as they could have been for late June! It was still hot as we set up our tent around 1:30pm after we checked in. It wasn't very far from the main attractions and visitor's sites. About 5 miles from the main gate and quarry visitor center (as noted by the picture of the sign) and another 5 from Josie Morris Cabin area. We camped in site A4. Although large (we fit our instant cabin 16ftx16ft tent there with no issue), there is no shade and you will occasionally (especially in the afternoon) get strong whiffs of the septic tank not too far behind your campsite due to bathroom proximity. The camp hosts were very kind and welcoming. When we arrived, the water spigot had broken somehow and they fixed it within a couple hours of us being there. Only complaint is that the site was not truly flat and had lots of holes in the ground from the "mini bears" - mice, chipmunks, etc. So I'm not sure there is truly anyway camp hosts could have been on top of that for every camp site. If I had brought a camping shovel, it would have been no problem for me to fix it for our stay. Bathrooms could have been a little cleaner, but was about what was expected for a campground bathroom. Lots of little wildlife spotted just sitting at the picnic table - chipmunks, field mice, lizards and even a couple of toads. For dish water, try to scrape plates and any cookware into a trash bag, then wash with water. Do your best to hold back any large food particles and put those in the trash and then rinse anything else down the drain near the spigot. Do not was dishes in the bathroom sinks! There are signs that tell you about that, but just in case, don't do it! A great stay! Next time we visit, maybe we will try to reserve in B or C loop for a bit more shade. A Loop tends to not have too much unless you are camping right on the river. We opted not to, especially with little kids.

Wonderful campground on the river. If you can snag a spot on the river, you will love it! Great trails, nice hosts and very peaceful. One of my favorites.

Great campground within the dinosaur national monument. Water fountains, dumpsters, flush toilets. Along the green River. Beautiful

It has a lot, maybe 50. Get there early in the day. As the day goes on it will fill up!
