Fun little swimming area. Ample room to set up tents for shade. No chairs provided. Fun slide for the kids. Indoor pool as well.

Super fun pool! My family had a great time. They allow easy ups and tents as long as you don’t stake them down and food. We brought a cooler, easy ups and chairs. We also bought snacks from their snack stand and they were all yummy!! The kids area was super fun for my youngest boy and my older ones loved the slides and the diving boards. We also rented a floater vest because we forgot ours. Great place to take the family. If possible I’d avoid Saturday. There were 3 times as many people there on Saturday as there was Friday when we were there.

Super fun and a little crazy! We stopped by on our way home and had a lot of fun. There was something for everyone. We spent a bit of time in the little kid/ toddler area and my 18 month old loved it. Our 7 yo daughter loved the water slides (thankfully she was tall enough to do all of them) and the little kid area too. The hot tub at this complex is HOT! It feels nice, but can be crowded with lots of people. We ended up buying the combo pass for this complex and the hot springs. Please note that it is 4 blocks away and is NOT located at the Lava Hot Springs Inn which is across the street. If you've got little kids in tow, it may make more sense to drive over-- there is a parking lot for the hot springs. Overall, it was a nice visit!

Great place for the whole family! We loved the slides and towers! The 3rd platform is a MUST! Just don't do a belly flop! 😕 The diving boards are great and it's fun to see people do some amazing tricks. Great area for little kids as well as for the Irish red heads who need an indoor pool in the heat of the day. There's a diving board and rock wall to climb is a well. Lots of fun here!

Just type 4th of July schedule in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho on Google and it should pop up.
Hi Ben, thank you for your question. When using the platforms a waiver needed to be signed, as long as the diver is a swimmer because it is deep water which is 17'. You can do flips and twists etc. and prefer you are a skilled diver to try the tricks. We hope we see you this summer at Lava Hot Springs.
Hi Robert, Thank you for your question. Although our Outdoor Olympic Swimming Complex is closed for the season, the outdoor summer waterslides speed slide height requirement is 48" tall and for the curly slides height requirement is 42" tall. You do NOT need a wristband for the slides but do need a tower wristband for the platforms. We do not have major fatalities from the platforms but people diving incorrectly can get hurt. We hope you come visit us during the off-season to enjoy the indoor aquatic center. See our website for hours.
If you buy the hot springs and pool all day package its $13 for adults and kids over 3. $2 for kids under 3. My kids loved it! They are 2 and 10yrs old. The kiddie pool play area is indoors.
$10.00 which is an all day pass just be sure to get your hand stamped if you want to re-enter later.
Hi Sharon, Thank you for your question. We do not have private pools at our Olympic Swimming Complex or World Famous Hot Springs. There are a couple hotels in town that have private hot tubs; Riverside Inn has them in the basement of their hotel and the Home Hotel has the mineral water that goes directly into their rooms. Thank you.
