I don't think I'll ever be going to Wild Water again. We took my 7 year old son to have some fun before summer vacation was over. For the water slides they only have single tubes available and if you want to be able to ride in a double tube (parents wanting to ride with their younger aged children) you have to rent a tube for $12. We rented the double tube to try and enjoy some rides with our son and come to find out only TWO slides even allow double tubes. It would have been nice if they shared that information when you rent the tube. We wouldn't have wasted the money if we knew that it could only be used on two slides.
The wave pool was filthy and clouded by noon and the water was WARM. Not what you expect at a water park at all.
The bathrooms were pretty gross and there were two times I went to use the restroom and there wasn't toilet paper in any of the stalls.
It also took almost an hour for us to even get into the parking lot and the attendants were very unorganized. We paid for preferred parking and then were told to turn around and park somewhere else because they ran out of preferred parking. We had to walk back to the original attendant to get the other portion of our payment refunded. There isn't much difference between general parking and preferred anyway so I'd say to just pay for general.
It is nice that you can take your own food and drinks in and even if you don't the food there is decent and not priced too badly.
They do seem to have a nice area for the much younger kids but it just wasn't quite right for what we were looking for.

Awesome park! I love going here every summer... They have a lot of trees so don't have to worry about a shadow! Also they let you cook inside they a plenty of grills around the park they don't permit your own grill but if you get around 11 you can still a good spot..

We had a really fun day here. The whole family enjoyed it, especially our toddler. The kids area is huge and there's lots to do! All the adult slides were really thrilling and lines not too long. The lifeguards were attentive and we felt very safe!

Great place to take the kids. Plenty of things to do for all ages! If you want to cool off on a hot day, this is the place. They serve adults beverages as well!

Hi Todd! GREAT QUESTION!!! Wild Water Adventure Park has the largest kiddie area in the state of California. It's a great area for younger children and their parents to splash and play in the water structures. We also offer complimentary, day-use-of-life vests so that you can walk your child into the low area of the wave pool, as well as our pirate ship in Buccaneer Cove.
What are the family cabanas like? What type of seating? Can you bring your own chairs?

They vary the cheapest have 2 chairs a table and cover over you...then you have larger ones that have a full on canopy over you with multiple chairs and at all different locations in the park. I'm not sure on the chairs however they always just make sure you aren't bringing in glass
The website has been updated to show the hours on the calendar. The weekday hours will change, currently they are 11-7, Saturdays 10-8 but will go to 830 later in the month, Sundays 11-8 but only on select Sundays in July will they close at 830 pm.
11:00, suggest you get by then and lined up if you want to get a spot at the blue wave or kiddie area. They will fill up with in the first hour of opening.
It is better at 8:30 so that you are one of the first in line and get a good place if you take the pass for the whole season, sure you take the grill because they let you in half an hour earlier and if you take the one day you enter later at 11:00 am ..
If you buy it at the park entrance it costs you 35 dlls for adults and 32 for children from Sunday to Friday ... and on Saturday it costs you 37 adults and 35 children children under 3 years old enter free ..... but if you buy Tickets at Costco the ticket costs you 25.99 and it gives you a slice of pizza and a medium drink personally I prefer to buy the tickets at Costco .... I hope and my answer will serve you
They have Cabanas near the Orca pool, there is a lot of shade from the trees which is nice. There are plenty of BBQs over in that area. There are also ones along the outside edge of the lake there are a type of cabana seating. It's a tented seating area with mosquito type netting around all of the tables. Because being closer to the lake is going to bring those in later in the day. There are pits out there. You can see them when you walk in through the long entryway. There's rows of them. You pay for them on the other side of the Splash Shop. 😉
The cheapest is 29 which is 2 lounge/tanning chairs a table and cover over you on either side of the wave pool but from there I believe the next price point is $40 and so on
No they don't. Not unless it is Coast Guard approved. I've already had this discussion with someone there.
Very small children can have the body type flotation devices although they frown upon those.
The rides they have require one to use Wild Water only rafts/floats, which some need to be rented.
Hi Victoria!
Great question. Admission is not included in the rentals of a cabana. You will need to purchase admission tickets as well!
Thank you!
Mike
When you buy them online you have to pick the date you want to go, buy the tickets, and them they send u an email with the tickets in them. You just have to show your phone to the ticket people to scan them and get in. BUT beware because this place will not let you return or change dates on tickets....even in the case of emergency. So I would only buy hours before going, not days
They are not open yet. Call them for more answers. They answer the phone between 10am and 4 pm. When they do open it will be by online reservation. On their website they have a video you should watch.
Hello Diana- we are still planning on opening soon. All 2020 Season Passes purchased to date, have been upgraded to 2020-2021 passes. We should know an opening date soon. check our website for updates www.wildwater.net
No but you have to go very very early. They are the first spots to go. I recommend dropping a friend at the front to get in the front of the line before parking so they can run and grab a spot and the chairs you want. They're all free there. It's worth it. My 2nd spot would be by the bottom of the slides, and 3rd under the trees by the pool. We get annual passes yearly and even with early entry it's tough. In front of the wave pool is awesome too! Good luck!!
I'd get there about 25 minutes before it opens for front of the line. But again it's tough with all the gear so drop someone off at front. Life jackets by the wave pool are free but go quick so grab those early too.
Do you have to print your tickets or can they just scan barcode from my phone?

I bought my tickets at Costco, it is a better deal, includes pizza and a soda. I did however rent a Cabana online and they were able to scan the barcode on my phone
Do you still have to pay the full price even if you don’t go on any rides?
raeanne | Jun 13, 2020
Ansel Hendrickson | Jun 14, 2020
Yes, you pay the standard entrance fee for use of the park.
What hours do they open?
Lilia Hernandez | Jun 13, 2020
Madison Schneider | Jun 14, 2020
I believe it depends on the day, but if you check their website and go to the calendar, then click on the day you're planning on going, it'll tell you the hours for that day!
It has a spot with grass where you can bbq and then there's a spot where you can rent cabanas that's closer to the pools and slides and bar where you can buy alcohol
I think it's 9 bucks for the day a tube but keep your wrist band on and return the tube at the end of day get 2 bucks back thats a single tube doubles are more
It's recommended, because usually they run out, and they won't let smaller children enter the water without life jackets.
If you go in when they barely open u r in luck, make sure u keep the jacket with u all the time.
Enjoy.
They charge by height. Under 48" $28.99 on Saturday. $25.99 Sunday-Friday. Over 48" $37.99 on Saturday. $33.99 Sunday-Friday. But if you live around Bakersfield you can get a discount by asking for the Bakersfield days discount and showing your ID or Driver's license with your address on it.
For 2 adults n 5yr 2 4yr n 6 month bby how much it is?

Ticket prices from SUN - FRI are : ADULTS $35, KIDS $32
Ticket prices on SAT are : ADULTS $37, KIDS $35
Kids from the ages 3 and under enter for free.
If you purches the tickets at Costco, each ticket is $25.99 and each ticket comes with a free slice of pizza and a soda that you can get inside the water park.
Get your season pass after this season fir next year. Under $50 so it pays for itself in less than two entries and you can bring guests for $15 during the week
No not your own that is for areas away from water areas you have to use theirs if you want to be by any water areas.you also need to get right when they open to get any free seats by the kiddie area or any area.
There is a bar there for 21+ but i'm not sure what their hours are. last time i was there during the week it was closed the entire day, but you can bring in alcohol just not in glass containers
What's included when you rent a cabana?

A cover for shade an lounge chairs for up to 4 people.
I believe they are. Check their website to make sure and don't forget to check their specials depending on the county you are from or age (seniors and stuff)
8 dollars for a single tube. You can only use a double tube for 1 ride. We upgraded from 2 singles to a double and they wouldn't let us downgrade back to the 2 singles
I have a season pass membership. This year im dissapointed. Took away pass holders private area, and have to pay to sit at picknick tables that are covered!
Its about $8 for a single and $10 for a double. When people start leaving they just leave them wherever. So around 4pm we got free tubes lol after riding all the rides
I'm sorry you had a bad experience there on that day. But if you gave it another try, I'm sure you would enjoy it as my family of over 75 people do each year.
You may wear other tops or shorts as long as it is bathing suit material without buttons, zippers, grommets or rivets than can damage the slides. We also do not allow g-string to thong bottoms. T-shirts cannot be worn in deep water or on some slides.
We paid about 20 per person but it because we are from kern county. And the had a special for residents from here. The seniors pay only less, but I notices to late, after I payed for my two grandparents. Once u pay and have the tickets u can't get a refund or a bette price.
Luis- we do not allow children under the age of 12 to enter the park without responsible supervision. It is important for everyone playing in the sun all day to take rest periods in the shade, drink plenty of water, take meal breaks and re- apply sunscreen. Young children need to be cared for to stay healthy and safe.
