Fun for the kids! Shallow pool was chilly. Other pools were heated nicely. There were a lot of flies swarming and biting us when seated at the tables. There was no one at the food counter to put in an order and once we did we had to wait for the food for a while and then remind them what drinks and sides we had ordered. Staff seeming inconvenienced by us and we were one of three small families there at that time.

The children's pool was open, even though the website says it is under construction. The water in the kids pool was cold. It had a tiny slide but it squirts water on your face. Then the kiddie area has what looks like a very steep slide, my 8 year old was fine with it, but my other kids didn't want to try. There is another slide in the kiddie pool that my 5 year old could do herself. But to get to it you have to walk through a little shower of water which took some convincing for my 3 year old. Once we got past that my 3 year old liked the slide going with me. The water in the deeper water with the lilly pads and basketball hoops was a bit warmer, and the lazy river was warmest. The slides land in the same water as the lazy river. There is a big slide that kids can go down with a parent. Very fun way to spend a morning! With covid protocols we called in advance to make sure we could go since we aren't staying at the resort.

This place could be much better. We walked in to check it out and walked out. The kids area which is about 40% of the water park is shut down for Covid. Parts of that area need repairs and some major cleaning which apparently they don't want to do even though it's shut down. The rest of the water park also needs repairs and cleaning. The bottom of the lazy river looked filthy. Lifeguards were much more interested in snapping each other with towels then serious life guarding; however, there were only a few people their when we stopped in the middle of a week day. I sure hope they turn this place a around. Repairs and either new supervisors or management is needed. I hope the rest of the resort isn't like how the water park portion is run!

Nice water park for kids. However, very disappointed that staff were not wearing masks at the water park (staff running check-in and food service area). Lots of adults not swimming not wearing masks (almost no one in a mask), and no encouragement or enforcement of mask mandate.
