You are correct you shouldn’t be asked for an ID for aluminum cans in Phoenix Arizona but if you take other miscellaneous items like copper brass stainless steel electric motor and ID will be required Not necessarily for the cans on the ticket but for the other items now if you only take cans and plastic no ID is required

Price always goes up and down with current market. Take ares there because it's simple. Plus not worth driving around for $0.01 more.

Stainless steel is currently $.30 a pound clean mini no iron on the material besides stainless steel
