You are correct you shouldn’t be asked for an ID for aluminum cans in Phoenix Arizona but if you take other miscellaneous items like copper brass stainless steel electric motor and ID will be required Not necessarily for the cans on the ticket but for the other items now if you only take cans and plastic no ID is required

We do purchase copper by the pound and pricing does vary on the type of copper for example number one copper is copper pipe with no Sauter copper Number two is copper with Sauter then you have your insulated copper’s but we are currently paying $2.20 a pound for number one. So to answer your question we do buy copper
We buy plastic number one with the CRV for $.25 a pound that includes water bottles Gatorade bottles juice bottles 2 L bottles and we buy aluminum cans with the CRV or $.75 a pound
We get through a lot of aluminum pet food cans and we now wash them before putting them in the recycling bin at our condo complex. Would you accept pet food cans as long as they are clean?
