My Husband works in the Sugarland area and was recently blessed by a co-worker with the gift of Grimaldi's pizza for lunch. Because he RAVED about how phenomenal it was, I insisted that he take us (his family) for Pizza on his day off; we were hugely disappointed to say the least. After driving 1.5 hours, I called to place our carryout order, & was informed that we would have wait 1 to 2 more hours because they clean the ovens daily around 3 p.m. We decided to place the order anyway and wait. My son and I walked around outside until my husband brought out the pizza. We all went back to the truck to eat it because my son has ASD & severe SAD. The pie presentation was HORRIBLE! There was way too much sauce; and not enough cheese, & toppings, so basically we paid over $30 for a partially soggy & burnt pizza that my son refused to eat. I'm not sure why the difference in quality & Presentation was so vast, but the pie we got was DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE TRIP. As an East coast native & a past pizza flipper; I feel as if I'm in a position to make a fair comparison concerning the authenticity of the pie we got to true NY pizza. The sauce was spot on; the dough taste & texture was lacking, but close, but the cheese & toppings were ALL WRONG. To Be fair, I don't mean the taste of the pepperoni & sausage; it was good, but sparse... The cheese inedible & like rubber in some spots.

Service was sub par even for a Saturday night. Waited 40min for Antipasto and another 30min for Pizza and Calzone. Food was great but only 3 stars because of service.

Yes, you receive a 16” Traditional Cheese Pizza as a benefit for being part of the rewards program. In order to qualify for this reward, you must make one (1) qualifying purchase using your Member ID# per year prior to the first day of your birthday month. Each locations hours vary, but most are open until 10pm during the week and 11pm on Fri and Sat. Not sure about last order time.
Funny, because I was the engineer for the build out of one of their locations I happen to know that the oven never goes cold, they burn coal 24-7.
