Really nice place for hiking. The 3 level waterfall is absolutely brilliant to watch. The water is brown in color, so wouldn't suggest taking a dip. Be sure to have bug and mosquito repellents

This was a beautiful place and I went on a beautiful day. Even though it rained the night before, the paths were not very muddy. And there are plenty of wood and paved paths. The falls are not that far from the parking lot and you can get to him completely on paved paths. There are stairs that you can go down but there's also a paved path that's exact down for people who don't want to do the stairs. And with the rains the few days before the water was roaring. I'll definitely come back next year when I'm here

Gooseberry Falls is always a stunning visit... Especially in the late spring/early season, when the water is high and rushing over the falls with an intensity to bring shivers, paired with the drifting fog and streaks of light coming through the clouds... It's downright sublime. There are plenty of trails to explore, a well-kept lodge, and access to the lake. Definitely worth the time and effort. Come with the whole family!

Gooseberry Falls is wonderful anytime of year but I especially love it in spring. There are no bugs and less people. The trails were packed down and if you have yaktrax the ice is effortless to walk on/over. The falls were gushing, the restrooms amazing, the fireplace warm and cozy and the Lake Superior views from the beach were therapeutic. I highly recommend taking all the trails but especially the trail to the lake.

The park has 70+ campsites you can reserve online. However, you will need to do it on advance if you need multiple as they fill up fast
Yes. Just drove past it.
I would say the middle is only about 10 feet, it's more of a rapids in that spot. It's beautiful while not sure high it's very impressive & has access directly to the edge of the falls. Which isn't super common. We loved the park!
Yes I'm pretty sure they do but if ur worried just call ahead!! 🙂🙂
