Horrible car quality check. Was buying a 2022, about to take it home and noticed 2 defects. Asked to take it for a 24 hour test drive. Got home and noticed SO MANY defects to the car that should have been noted in the quality check. 1. Sun roof was ripped 2. 3 instances of smoke damage in the car, including two additional smoke damage / dirt marks on both seats 4. Tire pressure light came on as soon as I started driving it 5. Front Passenger door was not flushed/aligned with the car 6. 8 instances of scrapes/gashes in the exterior, some deep into the paint 7. 6 paint damage spots across the back area, they looked like they had been covered with maker or inconsistent paint. 8. 4 bad / deep gash marks across the back bumper 9. a deep gash across the front passenger side mirror 10. a crack in a front headlight 11. a gash in the front grill that looked like it had tried to have been melded together and failed HOW can you miss all of this in a quality check and hand me off the keys to buy?? And then when I return it, blame it on the transfer location even though it passed your general inspection?? It's a 2022 with 6k miles on it!! The manager got my shipping cost refunded when I asked and was very nice and apologetic, but didn't write anything down when I showed him all the damage, so they probably won't fix it and just re-sell it to someone who is half blind I guess. Who knows. First and last experience with Carmax. Would not recommend. Uploading a few pictures but of course have all of them.

Carmax is prettt good at screening cars and the southwest location is getting cars from all over the country in to help flood issues. You should try and see...their loan loan rates were pretty competitive for my aunt last week.

Go to their website, pick the car you like that you can afford, call them and yes they will work with you. Remember, you have to have full coverage insurance before driving off the lot. Call them.

CarMax doesn't use a specific towing company. If you have MaxCare towing is included with your roadside assistance. Check the CarMax Owners Plus app for info.

You are better off going to a local dealership with special financing options for people in your situation. Carmax is going to run a credit report and adjust the monthly rates accordingly.
