Honestly you should get a group of people who care about advancing skateboarding as a whole and in La porte,Tx especially; needs to be parents And or older skaters or former skaters involved go to city council meetings with concrete information about the good things of having a quality skatepark in your city explain that you are a tax payer and just like the city provides quality basketball and tennis courts jogging trails etc.... We also need a good quality skatepark that will last for generations to come because all kids are not into team style sports alot of us skateboard and do other type sports show them in person the successful Houston skateparks and how they bring communities together no matter race or demographics.

Bikes and scooters are not allowed. Only skateboards and roller blades. I dont know about traditional roller skates. There is no cost to use it, but you have to wear a helmet, and sign a waiver.
