I love Dr Carabello and have been her patient for a few years now. I had my son over a year ago and decided to get a check up and just make sure things were good with me. I was in the ER for issues and was instructed to follow up with primary. I called several times on different days and left messages with no call backs. I finally got through after 2 weeks(thankfully I didn't have a situation that needed immediate attention) and made an appointment. On the day of my appointment I received a temp insurance until my new one picked up. The receptionist had me call my insurance who told her I couldn't be refused service due to the circumstances even if they didn't take my insurance. I see another Dr in the same network who took this insurance so they said Dr carabello should have taken it as well. Dr Carabello's staff was not helpful at all. All that had to be done was a phone call to ask if the insurance was accepted. Instead I got an attitude, lots of side eyes, and some foul language because someone was having a bad day. My blood pressure was through the roof dealing with them that day. I left their office and changed my primary that day. If you have concerns that need immediate attention I advise to look at seeing someone else and it is a shame because Dr Carabello is really amazing but her staff---not so much. So disappointing.

First visit for my husband and I, not that long of a wait. Polite and friendly staff. The doctor was very nice, asked questions and we thought was very thorough.

I have been under the care of Dr. Carabello for a few years now. I am a Registered Nurse, I live in Delaware. After relocating to Delaware I continue tom drive to Philly to receive my primary care from Dr. Carabello. She is attentive and not rushed. She listens to my concerns and requests. As a nurse of 322 years I will continue to have her as my PCP, rarely do you find a physician with her commitment to her patients. My only gripe is that getting through to the office is a bit tedious. A online chart would be great. But she is still worth that little bit of barrier.
