Beautiful trail that leads to a waterfall. It's not a difficult trail great for families to enjoy. Make sure to wear comfortable clothes and I'd suggest some water shoes if you plan on getting in the water. The water is refreshing not too cold however we did go in August around 99 degree weather.

Hello, how long of a walk is it to get to the waterfalls on the easier hike? we will have 3 kids. Will there be water in the falls the beginning of August?

It'll be about a quarter mile from the trailhead off of the 41 toward Corlieu Falls. Since this is an exceptionally dry year, there won't be much water left by August.

Is their a hotspring at this location at the top of the waterfall, I've been told there is?

There are many great views along the way so you don't have to do the whole thing. There is also a turn out about half way. You can also start at sugar pine and walk down if someone can give you a ride up. About 3 to 4 weeks ago there was a crew cutting all the logs across the trail so it should be pretty clear now
