Not sure of the lake or river water made my family and friends sick from the algae. Realized after we went camping around lake kaweah for the weekend that there are warnings against swimming in the water due to the algae making u sick. Its posted at slick rock, but needs to be a better warning sign for people to know at the marina not to swim in the lake water! Vomiting, diarrhea, cough.. it was posted in July 2022 in the news about the algae warning and to stay away. Makes me very disappointed that workers at the marina do not make anyone aware.

They haven't repaired the docks there are still houseboats hitting up against each other damaging them more than they already have been. There are still several houseboats under water and no way to get to them because there's no dock!! But all the Marina's rentals are all nicely docked and out of harms way!! To make matters worse They want to charge docking fees and threatening evictions and none of the houseboats are docked there just floating around tied to what used to be a dock some barely above water with little to no foam to keep them afloat!!!

I am not 100% positive but I think if you bring your own boat they suggest the driver have his license and to rent a boat there they only asked me for an ID. Hope this helps

In the summer, weekends, and holidays, boat rentals are all day price. Half Day Rates consist of 4 hours and day rates consist of 8 hours. Reservations of boat rentals are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. or 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the summer. No exceptions. Late fees are charged for boats not returned on time. All patio boats, fishing boats, and sports patio boats have a deposit fee of $50. Credit deposits can be held with your credit card company for up to 2 weeks. Any damaged or lost equipment will have additional fees. We no longer rent overnight boats. Thank you for your understanding.
On reservations you might have to reserve a week or 2 in advance. Need head count of party to accommodate space of what they have ome thats big enough for the party. Call +1 559-597-2526 to make reservations.

I'm almost positive that they do. There are some monster catfish as well as bass
Depends on how many person patio boat you want I just rented a 18 person boat for $210 all day plus gas which was only a few bucks
