It is very sad to hear all the stories of terrible service from a place owned and overseen by the Catholic Church. It is even more sad for me to share this horrific story about my experience with St. Peters today. 20 years ago my son passed away and he is buried there. In 2016 my mother passed away and she is buried two rows behind my son, and my father just passed away Tuesday. 4 months ago this May I noticed my dad's declining condition, (92 yrs) so I went to St. Peters to go over the "prepaid" contract my mother and father had paid together since 2012. It was rewritten right after my mother passed in 2016. They created a new contract using the credit from their joint contract and to be used later when my father passed. When I went in this May, I met with Veronica, she told me the contract signed by me, my father and Randy (from St. Peters) in 2016 was in-valid because the director never signed it. Veronica said I'd have to pay thousands more since the contract was in-valid and I would have to pay 2022 prices. I was very angry and confused, because I had Randy's signature on a contract. I threatened to take St. Peters to court for breach of contract. After two hours they finally conceded and rewrote my dad's contract with the old prices. So, today, I went in with my sister to confirm my Dads funeral plans. I again met with Veronica and presented her with the "new" contract she rewrote this past May. She quickly recognized me and never acknowledged our loss or say "so sorry for the loss of your father" or any type of empathy whatsoever. She had contracts in front of her and and said in front of me and my sister, "who is being buried with Johnny?" (my son) we were left with our mouths opened and said, " I am sorry, what?" She said in May when rewrote my fathers contract, she looked me up in her system and pulled my son's name, who's buried there as I mentioned before. She never confirmed my mothers name, plot or section # and put my dad to be buried with my son! I asked her why she would write a contract without confirming the details. It was clear that the original contract said my mother and father would be buried together, but she never looked at that. She didn't apologize for the error, but told me I'd have to pay "conversion costs" if I wanted to put my father with my mother!!! How can someone be working in this type of profession and be so unprofessional, un-empathetic and incompetent. If I had'nt come in to confirm my dad's details, there's a chance they would have opened my son's grave and tried to bury him with him instead of my mother. After getting over the initial shock, I demanded she correct this mess immediately. She went to her boss Jose to fix it. She finally came back with another contract, which reviewed with my sister. WhenI signed it, my sister and I just got up from the chairs in her office and begin to leave. She never said anything more, She never offered an apology for the original mistakes or from this May or for anything! She didn't even say goodby as we walked out the door. I told her, "have a nice day" she didn't answer.

While the cemetery itself is well maintained the office staff is beyond incompetent. I have literally been trying to get ahold of our counselor since April with zero response. So I decide to try to go above her and have had zero response from her manager as well meanwhile my grandmother still has no headstone and I can't get ANYBODY in the office to help or respond to me. I highly recommend going somewhere else and as you can tell from others reviews this doesn't seem to be an isolated incident.

yes this cemetery is well maintained, so one star for that. Other than that the customer service is horrific. Staff will never call you back. Unfortunately they know we are at their mercy

Both individual and companion glass niches are offered at St. Peter's cemetery. Glass niches are located inside the Mausoleums, and closed fronted niches are offered in our outdoor columbariums.
