Very nice experience. We did a townhouse, which had 2 bedroom and 3 bathrooms. Which is great for a family of 5. Had all the necessities...... activities on site for kids are great also. Staff was friendly and helpful!!!

Stayed at a nordic whirlpool in the corner of the building, nice view. While we had everything closed there were lots of mosquitos. My wife asked if there was anything they could do, they sprayed some type of spray. Hours later mosquitos were still coming from somewhere. My wife mentioned it, they said that if she was ok with it they would spray a “heavy duty” pesticide, as described by the front desk person, she wasn’t ok with it, they still did… The room smelled like pesticide for the rest of our stay and bugs were still coming the morning after… Overall awful customer experience, very dated place and definitely overpriced…

Enjoyed our stay 4/22-24. (SUPER OFF SEASON) Stayed in the Condo's while our friends and their family stayed in a Townhome. We cooked dinner at their place one night and found the townhome was really really nice. we were able to cook in our condo as well as they have all the basics you would need. Only 4 people were parked outside, so I am pretty sure we had the whole floor to ourselves . . . .was kind of neat. Like others have mentioned, some of the things are slightly outdated. However, I found that most of those reviews to be far exaggerated. Only negative thing that happened to me was when I took the room phone off the hook as a joke. (hadn't seen a phone like that in some time) When I went to put it back on the wall it would not stay on the hook and would just keep falling to the floor. My wife was obviously annoyed with me, but even she couldn't get the phone to stay. So the floor was where it stayed for our trip. More comical than anything.

Biggest waste of money! My husband and I use to visit Lutsen Resort years ago and stay at Eagle Ridge and it was lovely. We decided to return after not going in a few years but rooms at Caribou Highlands Lodge were the only ones available. It's conveniently located and it's an easy walk to the restaurant so we were happy about that. The moment we arrived it was a disaster. We had no guaranteed parking like we did in past with Eagle Ridge so we didn't dare go anywhere out of fear we'd return and have no place to park. The room was absolutely disgusting! I've actually never stayed some place so poorly cared for. I don't mind the place being dated, as it was, but our room had a broken heater that had two settings: suffocating hot or bitter cold. Our microwave hadn't been cleaned in I don't know how long because when I opened it there were popcorn crumbs inside. The carpet was dated and dirty and the bed was horribly uncomfortable and the sheets were filthy. That was literally the worst part about being there for us. Bed linens being dirty should never happen in such an establishment. I didn't know if the body itching was my paranoid feelings about sleeping covered by dirty blankets (they had visible dirt and smear marks of them) or if I was actually itching. We won't be returning in the future.

The one we stayed in was furnished with basic kitchenware to prepare meals!
We were there two weeks ago and the pool and hot tub were closed Thursday through Sunday.
