Walked in just to see what they had for my ear infection because none of the urgent care programs were working. Turns out they have an urgent care next to the ER. Was seen and out with meds in 30 minutes.

Been checked in 30min and not triaged. Going to local hospital ER with 8 minute wait and billing VA. Don't recommend this place. Just call within 24hrs and VA covers ER visit

Great hospital but be prepared to encounter those salty a**hole veterans giving the overworked and under paid staff a hard time for having to deal with free healthcare

Had to go to the emergency room because of some health complications, was seen as soon as I came in and even interviewed by the doctor before I completed my in check. Ended up staying overnight and was taken care of very well, the nurses here are amazing. But the best thing about the state was the food service personnel, everybody from cooks and delivery people were amazing at providing the patients with quality meals. Keep working hard guys and gals!!

No, Sunrise Hospital would be best for a baby but UMC is good as well. Sunrise Hospital 3186 S. Maryland Parkway 89109 UMC 800 Hope Place 89106
Oh thank you so much
Yes! The VA medical center on N. Pecos in Las Vegas does have an emergency department, open 24/7.
Yes, but not as a walk up Pharmacy. If you are seen in the ED you can pick up meds. Also, a lot of vets traveling think they can just stop in and get a refill on their meds. Not that simple, but possible for standard meds (BP, dm, inhalers, etc. And NOT specialty meds like cancer meds). I you need them, you have to see an ED MD, they put the order in then go to Pharmacy to pick up. This can take an hour to 4 hours depending on how busy.
I don't think there are any hotels close by, maybe some off the I-15.
Yes
Go to the benefits office at the main hospital and they can print it out for you and you can check out the bennies you may be intitled to also.
You check in thru the ER. If you are not an actual emergency, they will send you to "fast track" which is their urgent care.
Healthcare
There is a dialysis clinic. I don't know if it is "peritoneal".
