This senior center pool, that our community paid for, has been closed for years. According to the two woman very kindly working the reception desk, all it needs are fiter replacements and cleaning. So why does the Desert Breeze Pool system, which oversees the W.Flamingo Senior Center Pool, manager Katie care so little and disregard the health needs and access of our Spring Valley seniors? Is there ageism going on? Why is the Desert Breeze Pool going full steam and Katie has delayed reopening our 50+ pool?

Is the Pool open?
Yes. Canasta hand and foot, ten penny, and there are so many more games and please go visit take a tour. Its a fun place to be.

West Flamingo Senior Center does have a pool indoors but not open as of yet. It has a schedule date of February as it's closed for repairs being done. May I suggest the Desert Breeze on Durango and Spring Mountain as they also have an inside and outside pool. You would have to call them for their requirements of their use of pool.
No there is no public showers. When the pool opens there is a shower for people who are signed up for swimming. The West Flaming Senior Center is a great place to be. We have classes and different things to do. You do have to be a member to participate in any of the programs.and games. This facility is open for members only. Not just showers.

They have tours for the seniors. Today we went to the Clark County building and then toured the channel 4 building. Decited to stop at main Street Station at the buffet before returning to West Flamingo Senior Center. Good tour and a day to get out with our friends. Tomorrow we will have a luncheon which we have signed up for about a couple three weeks ago. It will be a success. Come on down and take a tour of the facility. Be surprised the different activities offered the seniors. Great staff members. Almost like a home away from home. Meet new friends and enjoy your time there.
Not free, but on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30-10:30. $37 for a 6 week session.
No they have swimming pool with some exercising classes. I have friends that go to them and really enjoy the exercising.
What are your hours? My uncle is 65 years old. He is looking for activities and to socialize amongst older ones like himself. Is there a fee? Thank you
the senior center does not provide its own bus service - there are bus services like rtc that provide bus service to the center for disabled seniors for a small fee and other bus ride services for vetetans - the senior center has information about these ride services
no there are no ride services for getting to poling places

there are a variety of games and activities to participate in - bridge games are played but you should call to get details
