The official personnel was lovely. She was very patient with me and my family. The guard downstairs checking us in was great too. Word of advice, don’t listen to the clerks over the phone. They def tell you what their webpage says about guest capacity. Just make sure you don’t over/ undercount, there is no guarantee your guests will get in. I took a chance- Oh, and it doesn’t look like the photos anymore. No garland- just a clear podium and the Las Vegas photo in the room. Congratulations

Clean and fast, had an appointment

Everyone was nice and efficient, and the ceremony was private and just enough time for us. I appreciate the officiant’s patience with us setting up devices for both a Skype call and a video recording. I was only unhappy about the vows. We told the officiant we had our own vows and they still had us say “I do” to the scripted traditional vows before saying our own. We specifically wanted a court wedding with our own vows to avoid the traditional vows based in religion as we are both atheists, and thinking back I don’t think we had to have the traditional ones to make it legal. Otherwise the ceremony was great, and the officiant was even considerate enough to step out of the camera frame while we said our own vows. We were able to purchase and receive our certificate within a week also (if you get letters from other services saying they can get your certificate faster, and you live in LV, don’t bother with them and just go through the government website. It was much faster.) Overall a good experience, and I understand it may can be difficult to be on the same page with so little time since the appointments are about 15 minutes.

I don't believe you can walk in. The schedule seems tight. Yes witness needed.
There hours start around 3:00 pm, but you need to go on line and make an appointment, no walk ins
You can bring anyone as long as you don't exceed 8 guests. All must wear a facemask. Yes you have to make an appointment. You can't be under the influence.
You just have to go to their website and request for it through mail
No Appointment to get married but you need to have the license before hand
My friend had someone walk her into the room before hand but there isn't really an isle.
My girlfriends daughter is 6
Yes. We were allowed to make a video. But you should ask before.
No dress code... We got married in matching flat bill caps and Carhartt hoodies.
One witness is all that's required.
The parking structure across the street from the license department
At marriage commissioner office
No has to be 24hrs from what i was told
Yep! Or you can go on the website they give you & get one there
No. Not at all. Try Mon-Thur
No
At the marriage license bureau.
$75+credit card processing fee so it ends up at $77.75 per their website. EDIT: During the pandemic they have raised the prices. Please check their website.
I believe 18 people is the maximum capacity. That includes the couple, commissioner, and witness. That would allow for 14 guests (15 if one of the guests is also your witness).
Goto mlic.vegas to order proof of marriage certificate.
