I didn't stay at the resort but i stopped at the lodge for a few beers and lunch and you're a moron if you drive past. Their "Burger Bundle" was a beer, a bacon cheese burger, and cheese curds for $15. This isn't 1990 any more. The food was so good and the cost made me not want to leave. Great atmosphere. Shake of the day. I didn't want to leave but I'm backpacking the 4800 mile North Country trail. If you're driving by and you don't atleast stop you're a fool. I hardly ever rate places 5 stars.

Very friendly staff and comfortable cabins. The boat rental was good and added a lot of enjoyment. The fishing was challenging but we had fun all week long. Fall colors here are worth the trip alone and this area of the lake brings me back each year for it's glory.

We are heading there this weekend.. not sure why my phone asked me how it was … 🧐 the phone must be listening to me… crazy.. but anyway we went last year… it was still Huddles .. but I’m so impressed about how thing have been handled this year… :) I can’t wait to be there this Saturday:) it’s a must do!! Must see!! Beautiful resort!!! My family has been going for more year then I was alive 😍 girls were not allowed on the fishing trip… lol I was one girl of five boys … so I last year made my own trip… and took my grandpa… but it was my great grandpa that started that trip… he was actually the one that got huddles their liquor license and a bar set up.. my great grandpa.. was amazing… can’t wait to go this Saturday!!! ❤️

I recently traveled up to this town, for a friends cabin which is walking distance to this place, this past weekend and the staff was not nice or friendly at all. The interactions I had was simply going from her cabin, around the area and stopping at the restaurant to eat. The people made me feel uncomfortable, so we got the food to go. The server wouldn’t make eye contact and she messed up the order. When a different server brought the food, i told her it was messed up. She didn’t offer to make the correct order which was paid for nor did she make eye contact. I heard countless negative comments and conversations as I was walking through. Also of my knowledge one from the wife who owns the place. The worker who worked at the gas for the boats also didn’t make eye contact when I was talking to him. It was overall not professional with the little interactions I had, I wouldn’t want to find out what it would be like if I stayed at their resort.... so with that being said, if you are BLACK or anything beside white, be cautious of this place. They will not talk to you or treat you with SIMPLE RESPECT. I hope they do better for people who are not white.
