We had my granddaughters birthday party here and it was great! Play area for kids right by the shelter. We were in the Rotary Shelter and it was perfect for about 20 people. There is electric there too, so we could keep hot food hot!

When are are the restrooms open? Do they close in the cold season?

Under normal conditions the restrooms are open april 15 to oct 15

Can you go there at night or is it closed at 5 It says it's open 24 hours but I just would like to check

There's a research facility across and down the road a little. Rumor has it that they have some spiffy nuclear research there underground. The actual mound however is just an old burial/worship site for a tribe of Native Americans.
