While I was able to receive 'adequate' care (less than 5 minutes for my evaluation), one of the staff members spoke to me in a demanding and demeaning manner. Instead of saying "You will turn left at this door" and "You will take your arm out of your sleeve ", try saying something on the lines of "If you turn left at the first door, I can take your vitals" or "You can go ahead and take you arm out of your sleeve so I can put the blood pressure cuff on". There is no need to bark out commands towards sick patients like we are in some military formation.
