Billing system is terrible. You update you auto pay online? Oh no, it won't work until the NEXT cycle. So then your bill becomes late, you get charged a late fee, and if you don't get the LETTER in the mail (because they won't call you or email you, despite having all the information on file), they shut it off and charge you an additional $50 to get some to come turn it back on. Absolute racket because you have no choice but to use them. If you are someone who is in financial crisis, they are sure to add to your struggles.

We sold our home and called to request the final reading. We were told there was an unpaid bill from November 2018 which was shocking since we never missed a payment. Come to find out, it was for the previous owners and we were told we had to pay it to get our final reading. They even told us they had filed to put a lien on the property due to the unpaid bill yet never mentioned the bill to us because it wasn’t in our name. So a balance can stay with the property to the point of placing a lien, yet you cannot tell the new owners the bill went unpaid due to it being in the previous owner’s name? Almost $200 later, we got the final reading scheduled. A couple weeks later, we get our bill and I immediately call to pay it to ensure it gets paid. They accept the payment of around $145 and we figured that was that. A couple weeks later, we get a second charge for the same amount so we got charged twice for our final bill. As soon as we saw it, we contacted them. We were told we would be refunded by check in a couple weeks - this was at the end of June. It’s now mid-August and we have yet to get our refund despite us reaching out multiple times. Now they’re saying “it takes 4-6 weeks for our refund process.” So, you don’t care to take someone’s money (which was NOT owed), but it’s going to end up being over 2 months to get our money returned to us? Absolutely disgusting and makes zero sense. I can see why the rating is so low.

I attempted to change my mailing address with them by phone several times over the course of the last five years and I still wasn’t getting a paper bill for one of my properties. I finally figured out their ridiculous online billing system and found they NEVER changed the mailing address. Nice. I chalk their total incompetence up to absolute corruption.

I have no clue you would have to call them it's not my water bill.
They shut mine off. But so did dpl I got a notice ftom them that they can't keep it off so I was hoping it was doe water too
If you call montgomery county environmental services customer service they can tell you why you have 2 meters, assuming you pay a MONTGOMERY COUNTY water bill. 1 is probably for fire suppression or irrigation system. Call 781-2610.
