I paid for a space in the garage and the ceiling above my space leaked every time there was rain or snow. I complained about this multiple times to no avail. The leak was a major issue because there are rails on the ceiling. These rails are old and rusty. The water that fell from them left some corrosive looking substance on the vehicles it came in contact with. Later they decided to plaster over these rails with some white material without fixing the leak. This caused the leaking water to leave white stains on the paint. These stains don’t wash off from a normal car wash. They even leave scratches if you try to wipe them because they have a lot of grit in them. My car’s paint is not the same after being in the garage. It’s new. Older cars that have paint that’s already worn down look even worse if they came in contact with the leaks. I tried to hold on to my space as they are limited and there is a waiting list for a new one, but I cannot pay for something that I cannot use. Amberley House/SNS isn’t doing anything to address this issue or offer a solution - not even an apology. Clarification for the owner’s response: 1. I never used the garage when the former management company was there. I was not made aware of any leaks at the time of SNS leasing the space to me. I only learned that the leaking problem had been there for some time after my first complaint. 2. I was told on at least one occasion that the issue was resolved but the leaks continued. 3. I relinquished the space because I couldn’t use it when I really needed it. (Snowy/rainy days). It was still leaking when I gave it up. I don’t know if it is fixed now, but it was never fixed during the time that I had it. 4. I think a good business practice would be to continue to hold the space for the tenant while the repairs are being done but not charge them for the months during which it cannot be used.

I was there visiting a friend over the weekend, I went onto the garage floor and upon stepping out of the elevator there were bugs EVERYWHERE! You could not step anywhere in the foyer without crunching bugs. Absolutely disgusting. When I voiced my disgust I was told that tenants on the first floor have this problem as well! If this is how they maintain the public spaces in the building I shudder to think at how they deal with private spaces. Shame on the management for these conditions. The new paint and big trendy numbers on apartments mean nothing when they think a bug infestation is acceptable.
