Made the booking over the phone. Clear it was through a customer service agency that was not local. When we arrived the front desk worker mentioned she didn't think they had rooms available and was surprised we had been able to book. However, she gave us the key and sent us up. Elevator buttons were sticky, and seemed run down. As we walked through the second floor...an overwhelming smell hit us. Gagging, we hoped when we entered our room the smell would disappear. IT DID NOT. Huge wave of odor...garbage, sweat, and stale alcohol. Our room had been uncleaned...bedsheets twisted in an unmade knot on the floor, garbage littered everywhere, half a container of margarita mix sitting on the counter, food stains on counter and floor, and trash can sitting empty in the middle of the room. Immediately, we backed out and decided we couldn't attempt to stay. We asked for a refund (thankfully was given). She told us that they hadn't had housekeeping through the weekend. I suspect this place had not had housekeeping for much longer. That smell was too intense. Not to mention the exterior of the building had gutter mats kicked aside. They were going to charge $155 for the night. Skip this hotel and go to the Hilton for $177. Shocked by it's lack of upkeep and even more shocked by the previous customer that leaves a hotel room in such a disasterous state. I always leave the room picked up, tidy, with beds mostly made.

Positive: Nothing but location. Negative: The hotel smelled of mildew and fish. The person checking me in was rude. The refrigerator did not get cold took 2 days to fix. The shower handle broke off in my hand.Did not fix it then after about 10 hours they handed me an old nozzle and told me to fix

It was ok and a convenient location. I thought a full kitchen would include a couple of plates and silverware, a fry pan or kettle to use on the hot plates. Only one burner worked and overhead light was burned out. Nothing furnished, not even a coffee pot!! People were constantly smoking outside my window, 100 ft away-- I don't think so!! I wouldn't stay there again.
