Got a great education about the possum I brought in. They do a great job for the community, always taking care of injured or abandoned wildlife. Great place to donate to.

The story of Arnold the Canadian goose and his mate speaks volumes about the wildlife center in Barnstable and it's caring Staff.. It also speaks volumes on the caring relationships that our animal friends have for each other.

Cape Wildlife Center is a wonderful organization and definitely needs the financial support of the public, not just those who need their services today. I've worked with them for years and brought them dozens of wild creatures of all species for care. Their level of experience and their dedication to the animals is exceptional.

Questions & Answers

I recently had surgery, and while recovering, I noticed that Australia was looking for knitted bird nests. I made 5 , but when I checked where to send them, they said they are no longer needed. Is this something you would like or know who would?

We could use them or possibly Wildcare in Eastham.

There is a sea duck or black duck with a broken wing walking around in front of neighbors house. How would I secure him/her and bring it to you. It has a long beak is it dangerous to grab her.

Bring a basket, with some fabric in it so it can be comfortable. Just scoop it up in your hands, gently, and place it in the basket. Thank you for helping it.
