Nice motel with good rooms. Size of rooms are big. Staff and owner are very good. It might be cheaper to call and book!

Positive: I loved the room, location and best of all the breakfast buffet on Saturday was awesome! However, cook didn't come in on Sunday and the buffet was mediocre. Negative: The cook not showing up, and no back up cook!

I let one horrible woman ruin my experience. Very nice Christmas light display park behind the hotel. Located in a hotel mall it was a nice out of the way area but close to the interstate. Very long day traveling 12 hours arriving at night. Yeah it's at night. The last thing in the world I needed was Someone miserable. Worst La Quinta hotel out of 5 I've stayed in over this past year.Young Girl who checked me in absolutely horrible! TV not working she became very upset as if I was to blame, and I was bothering her for assistance. My phone dead I asked her for the address of the place, (what town) again, I was bothering her. My phone charger broke she said she did not have one, did not even bother to look.When I asked her why she was upset she, threatened to throw me out. Froze in my room because I did not know how to operate a thermostat and could not afford to ask as I did not want to risk being thrown out in the middle of the night with my dog. Young man next morning could not have treated me better, Without a second thought, when asked for a charger, he reached into a drawer and pulled out a correct charger. Breakfast was nice as well as the morning staff. I Should have stayed next door at the Motel 6. I checked Motel 6 beforehand $51 but wanted to treat myself to something nicer after a very long drive from upstate, NY). Total waste of hard earned money due to One very unaccommodating employee.

We stayed here once and loved it so much that our next time back we booked this same place again in a heartbeat. Loved it again! Clean, elegant, very comfortable rooms! Also very near Baton Rouge. Neutral: The bed is indeed kinda tall, I think due to a thick mattress, it has some nice pros but also some cons for shorter people. Overall we liked it. Cons: Free breakfast is nice, but it's not the fanciest, don't get your expectations too high.
