Worst rifle range I been too never coming back 2 of the targets was broke walk way had a ditch in it clean rather thow ain't been kept up for targets wise took a little while to find the rifle range no sign or anything had to do a fund by picture of the location first and last time I'm coming and bo pistol range for the.public

Great place for outdoor sportsman. Shooting fishing archery hunting and I'm sure more than that to do. Love this place.

Not at the free tube range, it is single projectile rifle only. There is a pistol range that is run by a local club, NKSSA, and they have a couple times a month they open their range to the public. The schedule can be found at the calendar of events at Fw.ky.gov
Yes crossbow is allowed when the animal you're hunting is in season. The parking is back by the tube gun range.
Open to public on 1st and 2nd Sundays of the month. $5 per non member. You might want to call before heading there this late in the year. Weather may be a factor. There has to be a member there for Range Directing for safety. Bring your own targets.
I believe you do need a target stand at the rifle tubes. They are open from sun up to sun down. The the bench range is only open on certain days and during certain hours they are at different locations on the property
If I remember right you can move targets 25 50 75 and 100 yd

When you first cross the tracks, all of the ranges and fields on your left are managed by clubs, and the Kentucky fish and wildlife website has a calendar saying when these areas are open to the public. If you take a right on to wildlife road immediately after crossing the tracks, then you take the 2nd gravel road on your left and follow it back, there is a public shooting range that is open to everyone daily from dawn to dusk.

Follow the signs to the gun range. It's on the right of the gravel road that leads to the range. Make sure you look for the public range, not the private one.
