So apparently they let homeless people live in our places rent free. Yet we have to pay for this pit. No security. Doors left open 24/7 easy access. One person committed suicide jumping off the building. Two others got shot at our place and the other was domestic abuse on the fourth floor. They always have something going on here and not in a good way. Don't bother moving here. It's not worth your money or time. Oh...did I mention that there's an infestation because of trashy people here and not picking up the trash.

If you are considering living here, I highly suggest you look elsewhere. Stratum on Highland is absolutely one of the worst apartment buildings I have ever been in. The trash piles up on the end of the hallways leaving a disgusting smell to come home to. I have constantly felt my physical safety was threatened by other tenants. The leasing office staff and administration do not care about the wellbeing of their tenants. To make matters worse, when trying to get into contact with the property manager about my complaints, the property manager is not even available in person, or by phone. The leasing office always suggest you come to them, but they are not even available in the office, by phone, or email. The list goes on - this is not even the worst of it. Please reconsider where you live - it will definitely be safer and cleaner than living here. I have attached a picture of the trash that has been sitting at the end of the hallway for weeks! Tried to get into contact with them about this, no response as usual.

Stay away from this place at all costs. The rent is ridiculous for what you’re getting. The only upside is the location, but it’s not worth it for living in a cheaply made, dirty, cockroach infested, smelly place.

I was trying to apply on behalf of my sister because she has a present disability and needed some help. I personally called their leasing office and there was a rude woman explaining to me how the security deposit AND the rent cost was both $609 when the Lease Agreement stated that the security deposit is $200. I read any important documentation to the fullest and I am aware that the security deposit IS NOT the exact same amount as the base rent cost. Even when I explained this over the phone, she told me that my sister cannot move in if she did not pay $1,218 in total and didn’t provide me a valid reason as to why the security deposit was the same cost as the base rent. Do not waste your precious time even trying to get a room here, especially if it’s for someone with disabilities.
