Nice experience for a small distillery. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Tasting was a nice experience, would have liked to have just a little more to taste but for $9 it was worth it. Recommend stopping in.

We stopped in last minute and they were able to set is up with a tasting. The tasting guide was great and went at a great pace with the entire group. We'll definable be back.

I was going to say KY doesn’t allow shipping but I see a law in 2020 now allows it
They do sell barrels for $115 but there is usually a waiting list.
Absolutely!! we have a “Mini Tour” that’s just a tasting and some history.
Hi! Thanks for reaching out---what day/time did you schedule your tour?
They do. I can't remember exactly how much they ask for them though.
The Hampton Inn. 12929 Frogtown Connecter. Several Hotels near Distillery are great. Very safe area
You need to book your tasting on line
Yes we are open 11-5 on Sundays and have tours at 12:00, 1:30, 3:00 and 4:15
8 bucks and worth it. Great place. Be sure to get some of the bourbon creme
Hi Caleb. We charge $8.00 for a tour and tasting. The tour is about 45 minutes and the tasting follows. You can pay the $8.00 and waive the tour if you’d like. You’ll get a sample of four of our products. We also sell drinks as we have a small bar. Hope to see you!!
Hi Carole - Many of our customers say they substitute the milk and or cream in the recipes with the Bourbon Cream. Jason's recipe looks good although we certainly recommend using Boone County Bourbon Cream!! Let us know how it turns out.
Hi Marsha. Yes the tour is handicap accessible. The only area that is not is access to the fermenters
The original Boone county was bought and shutdown my a competitor to keep prices up. Later the original building was destroyed if i remember correctly in a fire. When it was reopened it had to be relocated due to fire code
Our guide during the tour mentioned that they do sell empty barrels and that they are pretty reasonably priced. Give them a call!
Absolutely! We sell bottles of all our products in the gift shop along with tons of other merchandise and hand made items. We’re open Tuesday-Friday 10a-5:30p and Sunday 11a-5p. Cheers!
Hi Denise- Tanner's Tomahawk: Fill a 16oz cup with ice, add 1.5 oz Tanner's Curse, 1/4 oz Mango Flavor Syrup, Squeeze of lime juice then top with Fresca. Mix together well and enjoy!
Our tour & tasting is $8/per person. Hope to see you soon!
Hi Clara! Thanks for reaching out! All ages are allowed on our distillery tours but only those over 21 can enjoy the product tasting! Hope to see you soon!
I will suggest, since you are local, to visit destilery, taste 1833, Tanners whiskey and buy Burbon Cream at same time. It is worth it.
