As always waste of time. Called on the phone because the website said no service available to call otp, they said previous tenant did something that caused them to blacklist our apartment and to just come in with an ID to the store they can help, came in let the guy know exactly that, I’m here to fix this issue they said and ID that’s all I brought, he tells me to wait, then same guy stands at the front entrance desk, about 10ish min pass and same guy calls us over to a desk and tells me I need to have the lease too otherwise there’s nothing they can do for me. Could’ve told me that when I walked in and said I only had an ID and nothing else.

You have a comcast modem I assume. Is the phone light solid on the front?(tel 1 or tel 2, usually 1) If there's no light at all, you will have to call in and get provisioned. If it's blinking, then you'll either have a phone off the hook or a short somewhere in your phone line.

Yes bring back your Cable box. My opinion the Xfinity Reps at this location are very nice and are preferred over the Reps on the phone. Xfinity wanted to charge me $69 just for internet alone. That was only $20 less than what I paid for Cable and Internet together. I cut the service and now using sn Antenna. It is best to wait for special promotional prices.
They are close to due to the weather
They can help you get your laptop online at the store, however that may not solve your issue getting online at home. I would consider calling their techsupport and have someone troubleshoot the issue for you.
They dont often have spliters available. I would recommend calling them to see if they have some spares. They have settops and modems available. Faster to just go to bestbuy or microcenter to pick up a spliter. If you want an original spliter and have inpaired service call tech support. They will send a tech that has splitters and set tops.
