I had some old/sentimental jewelry that I wanted to sell, and I found A-1 through a recommendation and I'm happy I did. Owner Ralph Santiago and his son Josh were extremely helpful. Knowledgeable, affable, passionate about their crafts, they took me through the whole process as to how they arrived at the prices they gave me, even going beyond what I thought was expected. Every once in a while, life begins to reveal itself and you find it's time to close one chapter in order to begin another. I write that because this was not easy. Thank you to Ralph and Josh for making what was an emotional decision a little less painful to process.

I came in there to ask if they wanted this ring. My x gave it to me, didn’t want it anymore. Anyways long story short as I am saying thank you walking away. I guess he looks at my arms and see’s someone took blood (just came from doctors appointment) and just makes this ignorant comment/assumption that I was donating blood. I must need the little money he was offering me. Just unnecessary and unprofessional!

Very standard, the used car salesman vibe staff, buys at spot or melt and nothing else for gold bullion coins, over the phone they promised 2% over but not at payout, they are numismatic when selling and pretend they have no idea when buying. For jewels, it's melt minus 5% under spot. Please call around before you go to this place as a last resort. Very mediocre and tasteless, no harm or no real gain, just standard ho hum and very honest
