I am extremely disappointed with this service. I travel abroad continuously and the reason I have been a client is so I could get virtual support in case I am sick even if I can’t take advantage of all it offers locally. On Sunday I contacted the “care team” explaining I needed advise as I was sick and abroad. Up to now I have received no answer. Submitted my symptoms followed up with additional information. Got a message they would get back to me shortly. I am still waiting and still sick and abroad.

So far my experience with Forward has been very good. I enjoyed the staff and my time with Dr. Molly was great as she was patient, focused, knowledgeable and informative. My only recommendation to improve the service (any medical service for that matter) is remind doctors that when medical test are done with the intent on seeing if the patient has a real medical issue, they should make it a priority on following up on the results with the patient asap. Additionally, the medical code names for test doesn't help us at all. Perhaps there is a way to include more info on what the test mean in the Forward app?

I decided to try Forward because I move a lot for work and it’s difficult to establish new care in a new state. With Forward being in a lot of the major cities I usually am I thought it would be worth trying. My virtual visit with the doctor went very well. The doctor took her time and explained all of my blood work results with me and answered questions I had about visits with previous doctors. She laid out an initial plan of areas to keep an eye on and explained the process thoroughly. I’m a black woman so I was pleased that my doctor was also a black woman as our health can often be overlooked. My only issue was with the connectivity for the virtual appointment. You can only connect via a computer. They don’t have the capability to connect with a tablet or your mobile device which was a pain for me because I don’t own a personal computer so I had to use my work PC for my appointment. I hope that will change soon because it is a bit inconvenient especially given all the technology they tout they have for your health. But I’m going to stick with them for now because it was quite a positive experience for me.

Very good first visit. The doctor engaged me in a Q & A session. I am looking forward to my next visit to see what information and preventive care will be presented.

A Forward membership comes with a six-month agreement, with monthly payments. After you've been a member for six months, you have a simple month-to-month agreement and there is no cancellation penalty.
