The United States Mint did not make a 2 cent penny in 1943, however, they did make a one cent penny in 1943, which was typically made out of steel and we have that type.

I have some older dollar coins and half dollars, 1972, 71, 1891, 1942, 1940, 1922, 1921, 1928, 1976, 74,1894,1967, 2000, are they worth more than the face value? Thank you. Claire Bolingbrook
