All around delight. Drinks, food, apps, service.. all A+ quality. Try the seasonal baked apple cider, it has a hint of vanilla at the finish.

We went there for a wedding it was very nice. The food was good the only problem was they bought it out to slow. They could of been more faster. All in all it was good.

First, the good - DELICIOUS drinks, both mixed (creative cocktails) and ciders. Which you definitely want to expect from a brew house. Atmosphere is cute as well, lots of vintage details like pieces of a radiator being the rails of the banisters. The food was only okay - mussels were extremely small although the broth was tasty. Fries felt over-seasoned but I absolutely ate them anyway. My main quibble is that using QR codes for the menu (but not the specials? Why can't we have a paper menu when the specials are on paper?) and having servers use electronic phone-y things is neat for owner-viewed metrics and quickness of paying, etc - but...they take away from the service of an experience at a restaurant. During ordering, a server is busy punching buttons, when our bill was handled, our amount was announced out loud, we had to wait awkwardly while the server input the information. Our server did a fine job but I simply miss the art of service, where you are greeted warmly and have those individual moments like waiting for the bill to yourselves instead of waiting on a person/technology to be over with. Next time we'll likely sit at the bar and get drinks only. All in all, I'm definitely returning.

The outdoor patio is great and so was the service! Friendly staff, knowledgeable and the service was quick. I definitely would recommend for a fun night out or just a simple lunch. Great place!!

Yes we do!
Keep in mind that menus change often during the first few months as they figure out what works and what doesn't. I am sure many seasonal items will be making an appearance as well.
The food is very versatile. They have brunch but you order from the menu. Options for meat and non meat eaters alike. Your mom will like it🌷
When the patio is open, it is dog-friendly. The unpredictable factor is the weather, so it’s worth calling ahead to confirm.
Thank you, John and Luke! Confirming that we have a full bar which includes tequila and mezcal.
Weekend brunch starts next month. They will announce on Facebook
Yes. You can sometimes get lucky on Irving Park but if you can’t there is plenty south of Irving.
They are very careful, wearing masks, wiping down tables between guests and tables are more than 6' apart. I was very impressed with the COVID-19 precautions.
The patio is open, you should make a reservation though
Like Tobert said better to reserve than wait. We took a chance on a friday and the wait was over an hour so we skipped it. Made reservations on Wednesday and it was packed even with the spotty weather. 90 minutes is the normal timeslot
Yes! It's tricky to find though as the entrance to parking is on Tripp, and easy to miss
I'm having second thoughts that you don't know what's a tankard is...
Unsure if it officially opened, but the owner said they were hoping to open It up this past weekend.
Feel free to drop in. It is a big place and it can accommodate a lot of customers. No need for reservation.
We are so hoping for this Friday!
