It’s not horrible.Sometimes leasing can be very rude and make excuses for simple things like sending out notices for construction. It’s near midnight and I’m still hearing it. Packages get lost easily

Updated: 6/26/22 We stayed here for 2 years and 3 weeks in one bed room apt. Here is my detailed review. Pros: It's nice community in suburbs of Chicago at first sight. (1) Amenities (gym, bike room, swimming room, smart access and parcel pending) are descent, however equipments in Gym are old and non-maintained. (2) Rent price was reasonable in first year (Covid peak).(3) Urgent maintenance is excellent. (4) Housekeeping is excellent for cleaning. Cons: (1) although it's marketed as smoke-free community, you can find people smoking in and around. Good thing is that walls are thick so you don't have to breathe the smoke unless you are close to those ***. We are living in a lobby where such **** smokes weed fills the lobby and our unit with smoke. Biggest problem is the management which is lousy and don't want to act, despite alarming them repeatedly with in-person and emails. So if you are really looking for a community without smoke exposure to live in fresh and healthy air, THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. (2) parking is overpriced for quality. (3) Management is super tardy, sometimes no way to reach them despite making multiple attempts to call their number. They (Jessica and Laura) intentionally ignore your emails and do not reply repeatedly (4) Elevators are super slow, could have been better. (5) Our unit has electric coil cooktop which is really old and difficult to control the desired temp and extremely difficult to clean. (6) They dont allow to move-in or move-out on Sunday (as they dont have anyone to block the garage door or elevator). That's ridiculous thing I heard ever. (7) they dont have service elevators, so they are only two elevators per wing which are common for people/moving and quite small and super tardy. (8) they would charge you $250 admin fees, and then charge you for every little things from your security deposit at the end. (9) Count additional $80-90/mo for water, sewage, trash and service fees. that's more than you would expect in even Chicago area for one bed room apt. Overall, our experience was bad at the end. I'd NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO MY FRIENDS or RELATIVES. Important to note: THIS IS NOT SMOKE-FREE COMMUNITY AS IT IS ADVERTISED !!

Lived there for 5 years. Landscaping is beautiful. Entrance to main building, impressive. Elevators were always having issues. Garage was very dusty and too dark for safety. Apartments needed updating. People do smoke in buildings. My neighbor smoked all the time. Reported many of times. We would see others on balconies smoking. Amico corporation, nickel and dimes for EVERYTHING! Just to park, cost extra per month! It's not even assigned parking. That cost even more! So, if you come in late or weekends, good luck finding parking close to your building... it is way over priced and FYI: if you have children, you are not in the Elmhurst school district! You will be paying big dollars to have them go to York high school. We only stayed here for business reasons. Would not recommend living here...
