I lived at Wedgewood west for two years with my girlfriend. Since the start, we fell in love. It is a perfect space, nice area, close to Jefferson, everything we could have asked for. In the time we lived at Wedgewood West, they installed all brand new windows, doors, electrical outlets, new paint, etc… The maintenance on duty Bill is fabulous, always responded instantly, was polite, and knowledgeable on any issues and fixings needed. My favorite thing was the walkout patio. I would highly recommend Wedgewood west to anyone, leasing agent Megan is fabulous, and above all, for all that is offered, the price is RIGHT, and worth it! Since moving within the last month to a new apartment, wedgewood west will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart!

It's alright if you like the smell of cigarettes in the laundry room from the maintenance guys. Remember you get what you pay for.

I lived there a couple years ago, so I cannot speak to the current management. While I was there, management was an absolute mess. There were three manager shifts just in the 8 months I lived there. Their communication was awful, and consisted almost totally of flyers being left on the door. No email. No phone calls. I once had to mail my rent check due to being out of the area because of a family situation. When I came back, there was an eviction warning on my door. Thank goodness I came back in time to see it and pay the rent with a new check, but I had to send multiple emails before anyone would even answer me. I followed up to figure out where the missing check went, because it obviously had account numbers on it so I would want to know if it was lost entirely. Those emails never got answered either until weeks later and after I sent multiple emails. There were no emails or phone calls to me warning me about the missed rent whatsoever. Not to mention, that the flyer system shows everyone who walks by your door that you have not been home in x amount of days. The apartments are ok, but not especially great. The kitchen had been recently renovated which was nice. The rooms are kind of poorly organized, so I ended up living next to a tenant with a noisy child, which was unfortunate, but for the price that’s what I would expect. The balconies of the center apartments are also connected, which sucks. There was also more confusion with my exit rent and early lease termination fees at the end, which were made worse by ANOTHER switch in management. I basically ended up losing my security deposit because one of the managers incorrectly communicated to me the fees (didn’t respond to one of my emails) and then I lost her written communication to me about my final fees, so I could not prove to the new manager that that’s what she had told me. I moved here because I was on a time crunch, and it was certainly an ok place to live, but it wasn’t great. When I moved to Buffalo and worked with a great management company, I realized what a true mess this place was.

I called was put on hold twice then hung up on..no thanks already I don't want to move here. I know I called 20 mins before the office closed but was very disappointed with the way my call was handled.
