What a great stop after hiking the loop around the pond! Refreshing blueberry tea, yummy salad and of course, a popover. I had the salad with olives, tomatoes potatoes (I know… different, but it was delicious) #allergy girl had the egg taken off. The dressing that came on it was delicious!!

This experience was worth the wait! Our server was amazing being attentive to our needs without swarming our table. He was super busy but when he was with us he made us feel as if we were the only table that mattered. Now, most reviews will probably tell you that the popovers are amazing, and they are, but so was everything else. The food was delicious! We also enjoyed the herbal iced blueberry tea more than the hot blueberry black tea. The herbal was much more flavorful than the black tea.

Really enjoyed Jordan Pond House and the near-by hike around Jordan Pond. We are visiting in mid-July (very popular time) and we did not have reservations but only had to wait about 30 min for a table outside. 10 min for a wait inside. We weren’t in a hurry so we opted to wait for outside. There is a gift shop and beautiful views to keep us occupied until we were buzzed that our table was ready. The lobster bisque was delicious and highly recommend. The popovers were fun and served with butter & strawberry jam. Pairs well with coffee or tea.

Popovers are slightly undercooked bread balls. Any yeasty thing with butter and jam will taste good. If you really want to try it but don't want to wait in line, buy the dough mix and the jam from the gift store and bake yourself two dozen in a cupcake pan. That said, great service, wonderful location, and a pleasant (albeit mildly pricey) alternative to vending machines and cabin cafes that you find in most national parks. Quick tip, the closest parking fills quickly, but there are plenty of nearby parking spots and the tables turn over every hour or quicker.

Waiting too long and not worth the wait. Bring your own food and drink.
The wait can be longer if you're in the middle of the day. We were there at 1pm and they told us wait time was 1-2 hours but we waited just a bit under an hour
They will be open! No reservations this year.
Only open for takeout
I would think so
October 20th
11 A.M.
There are different spots all over the island. Go on line to http://www.exploreacadia.com/ for schedule and bus stops. But visitors center is easy. May have to take bus to bar harbor and catch another to jordan pond
They open at 11am, arrive no later than 10:15 and you can usually get right in. Otherwise definately make a phone reservation.
Usually after the fall holiday in October
