Professional and supportive during a difficult time. One on one consultation and have helped me enormously. Tina was wonderful and helped me so much. Highly recommend when things get beyond you.

I looked at quite a few firms 4 yrs ago, ccc had great reviews, then I heard their name mentioned at a social event therefore I decided ok , ccc will be the one that I will use. Well today I am debt free, their negotiating skills with creditors were incredible. When I would call with questions I would ALWAYS get a representative that was on top of their game who were also very personable and informative about the credit world. It was like talking to a neighbor or a friend. I will never have to use them again (fingers crossed) but please look closely at ccc of Rochester because they truly care about you. Thumbs up Ccc

Danielle was absolutely fabulous! I was in a situation which I was unsure if it would be in their area of expertise and reached out as no one else was giving solid suggestions to resolve my issues and move forward; Danielle listened carefully, chatted with other associates and came back with suggestions that are reasonable and allowed for a light at the end of the tunnel. I really appreciate that CCCS was here 7 years ago when I considered using them and now again when I was out of resources. Thank you so much and I'll sing your praises to everyone!

Questions & Answers

Is it too late to get help when a debt collector has entered a judgment against you?

Everyone's financial situation is different and a great start would be to call CCCS of Rochester to speak to a Certified Credit Counselor. They will be able to review your full financial picture and give you suggestions and options to choose from. Unfortunately, I can't give you a definite answer at this point considering that I don't have that full picture. I would encourage you to please call 585-546-3440 to schedule your free counseling session with a Certified Credit Counselor.

can a married couple on social security get help for their budget and 1 monthly mayment?

Margaret Unterborn | Oct 18, 2018
Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Rochester | Oct 18, 2019

Yes, definitely. We can help you regardless of your income or where it comes from. Regarding the one monthly payment, that would require enrollment on our debt management program. For that, we would have to assess your situation to determine if you qualify and if it makes sense for your situation. Best thing to do is call us- 585-546-3440 for a free appointment.

Hi Paula, Thank you for reaching out on behalf of your friend! There may be options for your friend, but to know for sure, I would suggest that your friend call CCCS to schedule an appointment with a Certified Credit Counselor. During the appointment, the counselor will review their income, living expenses, debts, and information regarding their rent. I would suggest that your friend call us ASAP since they has a very small amount of time left. Thank you, Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Rochester

Would doing this effect my credit negatively? Just bought my first house. Looking to wrap up past credit card debt

No, in fact it would help you improve your score. Once your setup on a repayment plan and you stay on course to completion your score would go up.

Why does your website say that you close at 8pm on Thursday's? I was there last night at 6pm and you were already close! This was very frustrating considering that I work on Buffalo Rd. What time do you close today? Is it true that you close at 5pm

Linda Herrera | Oct 18, 2019
Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Rochester | Oct 18, 2019

We are open until 8pm M-TH for phone calls only. In person hours are until 6pm M-Th. Both phones and in person hours end at 5pm on Fridays. Our website does make this distinction. I am sorry for the confusion.
