Stephen Segar is the real deal. Not only is he an excellent attorney with extensive knowledge & experience, but he’s also genuinely a good person. He did a fantastic job handling my personal injury case and I highly recommend him. Throughout the process he and his team proved to me that they truly have their client’s best interest in mind. Stephen’s evaluation, response, and explanation to every detail was reassuring, informative, and impressive.

I had the Great pleasure of having Mark Hayden as my disability Attorney. I had talked to a # of other disability attorney's prior to finding Mark to represent me to close my case out. These other Attorney's wouldn't take my case because and I quote "there was no money to be made". I just needed representation to close the case. Mark didn't mention anything about money and said "I will help you out". He was kind and smart, reading through the case and getting me thru it. He explained to me that it is a complicated case for a hand injury to a dentist. I followed his guidance and in the end he negotiated a settlement with the insurance company and closed the case for me. So if you are looking a talented caring group Mark Hayden and his team are the ones I would recommend.

Alicia Elston was such a great asset to me for my disability case. She guided me step by step on what to expect, was always available for phone calls and additional questions or any guidance that I needed. After our first meeting I had 100% confidence that she was on top of anything that needed to be done! I am thankful that I went to Segar and Sciortino and met Alicia! I would highly recommend her!

Great question Tryna. Unfortunately, there is no adjustment for inflation with Workers' Comp benefits. However, if your rate of disability increased then you may be entitled to more benefits. In addition, you may also be able to apply for Social Security Disability benefits to make up the difference between what you are receiving with Workers' Comp benefits and what you used to make while working. Our firm handles both Workers' Comp and Social Security Disability. Please call us at (585) 475-1100 so we can have an attorney review your case.

Do I have ti pay if I don't win?

The attorney fee is based off of the settlement of your case. The type of case you have, Workers' Comp, Social Security Disability and/or Personal Injury will determine how the fee is calculated.
