Cool little park near the Great Bridge Bridge in Great Bridge. Opportunities to fish, a playground, and a boat ramp.

Great place to spend the day fishing, bird watching, playing with the kinds and if you have a water vessel (boat, canoe, kayak) there that too. The park is very well kept by the City of Chesapeake Public Works.

Has a place to kayak, a boat ramp, a park, restroom and several amenities. The water is good for fishing and lots of boats go by. Beautiful area in my eyes, lots of people crabbing when I went out, caught a bass and had a real fun time

Great place to spending day during this COVID pandemic, scenery great you love fishing this place for you. We do kayak here is awesome great kayak launch and as well for boat ramp is great. Great for picnic gazebo and picnic tables available. Very shady around the picnic area with waterfront view absolutely great day to spend. A lot space for parking car or trailer

Deff not. Where you would have to set your pots would be rt in the channel and not be there when ya return due to after dark boat traffic. Plus it would be dangerous to boaters. Not telling ya not to. Just saying this water way is used alot at night and not much lighting for boaters. Gl crabbing tho! Where ever ya crab.
Yes usually you do, call chesapeake parks and recreations to reserve your spot, busy on week end
Yes. It is a fixed dock keep an eye on the tide. We came back and it was underwater
I believe you can but just make sure you have your fishing license.
Just call the lock and ask they may have restrictions because of electrical or mechanical equipment.
The above answer is correct. The canal which runs from the Locks Eastward is fresh water. From the locks westward is salt water. When driving into the park, the water on the right, where the condos are is saltwater. On the left is the canal and that's freshwater. I see most people fishing in the canal.
It's still in the tributary system and is valid.
Yes there are , you can get a app or look online to see tide charts. The tide there isn't far off the ocean tide.
You will mostly catch catfish now.The water is brackish so If you get lucky in the coldest Months you will see some stripper and other colder water Fish, drum, trout, bass and etc. Good luck.
Sorry we were in a boat going through the locks.
