Great patch of woods for hiking right in the city, though it doesn't feel like you're still inside the city when you're hiking here, it's very peaceful. Definitely be mindful of when it last rained, gets quite muddy there for a few days after a big rainstorm.

Pinnacle hill is the highest point in Rochester. It has one of the best views and a very beautiful trail. You can also camp there. Also there is a very good dirt bike track. One of the must visit places to get a view.

It’s a nice place to get in a quick hike on your lunch break.

As long as its still there, Pinnacle Hill has and will always be a great piece of woods in the heart of Rochester. Pinnacle has a hiking trail to the top, and some bike jumps/bike trails . Please do not go up there and run around on the jumps!! The people who build em spend a lot of time on them, so please be respectful. Also, no one picks up trash for this place but volunteers... so don't leave your trash here!! Leave it how you found it.

There is street parking on Field Street, just mind which is the active side that day (via the street signs) and you're good to go!
There are no trail markings. It's more of a patch of woods than a park.
