Its a nice quiet playground, but access to the trails should be more kid friendly. Their to narrow to walk and would like to be stroller accessible.

If you are looking for an easy to access trailhead, well-marked hilly landscape for a moderate-level hike and maybe even a playground with a thick layer of woodchips to make landings less bumpy, this is a great part. If your body doesn't like a lot of accents or descents, this may not be a comfortable hike for you. What I like is how well the white trail is marked. During my hike last weekend there was never a point where I didn't see the next marked tree which is a good thing for a directionally challenged person like me. I certainly didn't explore the whole park, but during the 5 mile hike I passed through thick forests, valleys, a creek bed, and had great views of the bay. The trail leads all the way to the Bayview Y. Trails are mostly wide so most of the time my partner and I could walk side by side but there are areas with a narrow path.

It's a great park for hiking, is big with amazing views lots of trails to choose, it's a intermediate hiking level since it have hills, some challenging areas, it doesn't have a accessible map so make sure to pay attention what path you choose, the playground is in good shape, they have a small play area made of wood that is in bad shape, there's a small pavilion with 2 tables a portable toilet, most of the time is not clean, like any park take with you bug spray water and a snack, don't forget to watch my videos at zajira 4 fitness to help stay fit on YouTube

Park has nice views of the bay, but be aware that it does have some very steep hills.
