I really enjoy this lake. I do allot of fishing here. Take my dogs here. But.. Lake is hard to fish from the shore. Moss is thick and makes lure fishing mostly for boaters.

Yes, a few fields are here complete with some seating, restrooms, and a snack bar.

i want to bring my cub scouts there not to camp but to practice setting up. do i need to reserve a spot? and how much? can they build a fire or are there grills? and last question are there water near by to get to clean up after making a meal?

I'm sure if you talk parks and recreation they would let you have a place to practice setting up I haven't seen any camping areas around Binder there are restrooms around the ball fields and there is some kind of club house down by the lake .

Yes, you may use a metal detector, as far as I know. Binder Park rules are typical to those one would expect to find at other parks.

Absolutely not no place at all have a designated for any swimming that Lakes been around a long time and there's I don't recall any swimming ever and I'm 60. No fun right I guess they have a reason
