From the moment I walked up to the door to the moment I left, I saw and heard nothing but respect and good vibes from the employees to everyone there. I was in and out in a half hour. Because of beaurocratic b.s., I couldn't do what I needed to do today, however, the employee made it as easy as possible for me to get it done as soon as I did what came next. I can't give the site low ratings because the government has requirements that don't make sense.

Place where I do certain tasks for the Clean-Works company I work for, and the staff is very nice to me!

I talked to an case worker over the phone this morning bcoz I wish to know if my name is already in the system since I am applying for SSN . Sadly the AGENT didn't even try to understand and listen to me . He was relentless on speaking in a not so nice tone that I should have my 4 Digits. How will I know I don't have SSN yet because I am still waiting for one. 😑 So sad when anger and impatience takes over. I waited 37 minutes just to scolded

Very happy with the service at this office. The waiting room is organized and the staff was very helpful and pleasant.

You cannot obtain a new number but you can obtain a new card. Your social security number does not change throughout your life. To obtain a new card showing your number, visit their website at ssa.gov as you most likely can order one online.
how do i make an appointment
On line
For changes from one state to another
The wait won't be as long if you schedule an appointment. If you just walk in it may be awhile before you are seen.
Yes
Long.
Do I have to apply for Medicare A if I am 65 but still working till 66?
If you are a citizen you can make an appointment online, if you just became a citizen you or if you are a permanent resident will need to call their phone. The waiting time on the phone is about 15 minutes but they do pick up. When they answer be clear when you explain your situation so they can actually determine if you need an appointment or not.
I don't know it. I'm sure there is
No
Visit your local SSA office with current ID such as a driver's license or passport plus the item requiring a name change such as a marriage certificate for example. I hope this is helpful
I don't know how you apply for a social security number but if you mean a replacement card you have to have valid ID and fill out a application at the social security office
Honestly contact them by phone. I've been trying to get answers and no answer. The office is closed.
I went in person not knowing that they do not except walk-ins .it's appointment only ther is a number they provide so set up an appointment. Not sure but I'm assuming ther (that number ) could direct you to getting a new card... hope that helps
Make an appointment and it's hard to get through
Call the number is easy they answer my question in no time
No, they're doing everything via mail and phone.
You can go through their website ssi.pa.gov I think that is the website address or stop in & request the paperwork from the people that work there.
You can schedule with by calling them, like Kelly Albright said or you can go to their website and schedule that way. Depending on what you need, you can go there to talk to someone, but I advise getting there around when they open, take a book or something to do while you wait.
You can either do it in person or you can go on there website and sign up for updates, etc via there website.
No. You can walk in, sign in and doing thst
I'm sure that you can take the forms and paperwork to the office.
Each case is different, so it all depends on your specific case. And how much you get a month, etc. Best thing is to call n check with them about your case or check there website.
No they are not from SSI
No they didn't as far as I know. You just can't see the building from Olde Homestead Lane. It's driveway is across from Courtyard by Marriott.
Yes we do and it's $150
I dont understand ur language
U call the law and report that security guard is what you do the law will take care of the rest of it.
See a proven attorney. He will guide you!
Yes they will file for bee one will be in mail five days. They will give you receipt if you need it right away
Its better to bring in person
It takeup to 3 try of denial u must have documention of your illness recorded if u have lagent reasons u will get your benefits good luck
You only need to sigb up for part A if your current coverage is ending or will change how much coverage yiu have since yiur turning 65. I would ask the insurance company if there will be changes at age 65 in what they will continue to cover. If coverage changes or mandates that you take part A or B then take it. If xoverage remains aa it has alwaya been then deny A and B keep what you have and refile for Medicare when you have a change in coverage
Www.ssa.gov Search: secondary evidence for replacement ssn cards

Maybe I don't know what NJs state supplement is.. but you will no longer get the $22 from the PA stare supplement... but the federal amount $750 won't change This is for SSI ,I don't know what SSDI payment is so I can't answer that
No walk in get a number from the automated kiosk wait for your number to be called
Call them. You'd be better off calling the main 800 number though because if you read my review you can see that the Lancaster office is horrid over the phone.
Go to ssa.gov
Call them...
No
No, just go there or call them.
Don't know for that you'd have to talk to a disability lawyer. Since you are asking legal advice. No one but a lawyer can answer that question legally. If they do it's considered practicing law without a license.
