Food is very nice. Prices are reasonable and maybe on the low end. We sat outside at the patio and it was dog friendly. So our dog enjoyed his time there too. I'd definitely go there again.

Newman’s Castle is in Bellville, TX about 2 hours outside of Austin. Mr. Newman lives in this castle that he has built over the last 20 years. You stop by his bakery in town to get your tickets (reservations prior is a must). I’d recommend calling about 3-4 days in advance. A sandwich lunch is provided in the castle and the bread is fresh from the bakery. The bakery food is great. I went with a BLT and soup of the day. Delicious. It’s a cool castle to see. Mr. Newman isn’t the most friendly man which is why it got 4 stars instead of 5. It’s a fun spot to visit, go check it out.

Customized 8 Egg Ham & Cheese Breakfast Sandwich is Amazing. I might just drive back here again from Magnolia Texas to have it tomorrow. Pretty tempting

First of all the customer service is very nice. These guys are big on cookies and donuts. Grab a sandwich while you’re there on their fresh made bread. Very comfortable settings.

My suggestion is to contact them and ask. After all him and his family do live there.
Most of the castle seems difficult to maneuver through with a wheelchair. You cross a drawbridge to enter the castle & then the ground is gravel rocks. There are steps & stairways into many rooms/sections. Unfortunately, I don't see it as very handicap friendly though.
If you go to Newman's Bakery, you can make a reservation with staff and pay there. The owner does a presentation out side the castle with some history and information while keeping the kids entertained. You would be able to see some interesting things even if you could not hear. Then when they finish up inside the draw bridge. He let's all the guest roam around on there own.
Call the Newman's Bakery In Bellville, Texas for that Information.
No proof of vaccine is required. I don't even think you have to wear a mask. When I went there were around 150 people and some wearing and some were not. Just call to ask about making a reservation since reservations are required
I think so, just call the place, and they will let you know
You have to call the bakery to make a reservation at the castle. You first go to the bakery to pay for the castle admission. There they will give you instructions on how to get to the castle.
I don't think its advertised. You would have to call them to find out.
We tucked a tour and it cost $23.00 including lunch and we visit an a old jail also!!
You won't be able to see anything from the public areas of the street. To see the castle you must take the tour.
You MUST call to make Reservations this is NOT a drop in basis or last minute type of visit. Click the link below for the Phone Number you MUST call. Adults are under $20 children $12 but it COMES WITH a lunch sack meal THEY provide of THEIR choice. http://newmanscastle.com/castle/
