All I wanted to say is that Jess in Archery is absolutely amazing! I went in to get my first bow in over 15 years. He was able to direct me to exactly what I needed. He ram into some hang ups during the setup, but was diligent to get me setup same day! He directed me to a great range finder and arrows, then helped me get zeroed in before leaving. I always enjoy going to John's because they have about anything I need other than gas & food. Whether it be jeans, boots, shirts, sunglasses, belt, gloves, Yeti cooler, fishing gear, knives, reloading items shells, or guns, you will not find a friendlier place. 5 star business for sure!

I drove 3.5 hours to John's Sporting goods, to buy a rifle that no one in the state had, I talked to Nick and he was SUPER good at helping me find the rifle that I wanted and other firearms related products, Just waiting to make another road trip to there store, for it is the best stocked store i have been to in 20yrs, Counting Cabela's and Academy that have nothing compared to John's.

All you need is a current id whether that be a dln ccl or just id. And to respond to John you can buy anything that is legal in your state, out of state but anything that is not a long gun ie shotgun or rifle, must be shipped to an ffl in your state of residence. If you have any other questions swing into the store and well gladly anwser any questions you have!
Yes. I have bought a couple there. They are great people to deal with. Best sporting goods store in SE Kansas.
