I purchased 2 packs of corn seeds and it said seed count: approx 50. One package had 43 and the other 37. Not even close to 50.

Im an avid gardener, NEVER had a problem starting zinnias from seeds. Bought 12 packets from Houston Garden Center from Lake Valley Seed Company, expiration 12/22, temps in the 80-90's here in southeast texas. One zinnia came up out of all those seeds. Will go back to Dollar Store ZINNIA seeds being they come up and grow beautifully. Very disappointed.

Hello, Seeds can remain viable for many years if stored in a cool and dry location. For older seed, it is helpful to sow more densely than you would with newer seed to account for any decline in germination. Thanks for asking!
