Extremely knowledgeable, before we came to them we went through 3 vacuums in 3 years. This time we decided we wanted to spend a little more than we did in the past and boy did we get an excellent deal. I looked at the cost of a Riccar online and it’s so much more than what we paid at Perry’s! Plus their customer service is the best! They listened to our needs and helped us find the right vacuum for our household. We have had our Riccar for 4 years and it runs like it did the day we bought it! We need a pet cleaner next and will definitely go through them!

BEWARE of Perry’s Vac & Sew DECEPTIVE PRICING & MARKETING I am writing to report the negative experience that I received from Perry’s Vac on July 8th. I am a seamstress and asked for social media feedback on what company I should use to tune up my two sewing machines. I received feedback for Perry’s and chose them to do the tune ups because their website advertises tune ups starting at $39.99. What ensued was Perry’s hiding behind their false advertising and not disclosing true costs. I dropped off the machines on July 1st. The next day, I received a phone call confirming the machines only needed a tune up. The Perry’s rep did not disclose the cost, so I made the mistake of assuming it was the advertised price of $39.99. If it was my fault for not asking for a total, then it was the company’s fault for not disclosing the cost. Several days later, I received another phone call confirming the machines were ready for pick up. Again, the rep declined to disclose the cost of the service. I arrived for pick up on July 8th and received a bill – not for $39.99 each as I had expected – but $89.99 each. I was very upset in the moment and had a manager come out to explain the price difference. I told him what his company’s website promoted, advised him that nobody informed me what the cost was going to be, and that I wasn’t financially prepared to pay $179.98 for the service. The manager did not care at all. I was forced to sign for and pay for the service or they would not return my machines to me. I felt so blown off by this experience; my first experience with Perry's. As a customer, my feelings were hurt. I decided to reach out by email. See attached picture of Perry’s invoice where the Initial Estimate section was left blank. At no time was I informed of the total cost of service until pick up. If I had been informed prior to service, I would’ve decided to do only one machine, or at that cost to try to tune up the machine myself. Perry’s is a deceptive, duplicitous company, and they don’t care about their customers apparently as they never responded to my multiple contacts and attempts to resolve this issue. As a small business, I don’t know how Perry’s can deceive their customers and behave so evilly like a corporate company would. As an alterations business, I would not refer Perry’s to my customers, and I certainly will not do business with them again.
